Metro Detroit is so darn interesting that the national media keeps a standing room at the MGM Grand.
Well, maybe that's not quite true. But we'll be featured on three upcoming shows on national television.
This Friday, Jan.6, I will be on ABC's top news show, 20/20, talking about the incredible story of the Wendrow family of West Bloomfield. The Wendrows were wrongly accused of sexually assaulting their autistic daughter. The Detroit Free Press reported extensively on this matter, and earlier this year, ran a six part series about a prosecution that nearly destroyed a family. 20/20 is on at 10 p.m.
The story of Nancy Seaman, the elementary school teacher who hacked her husband to death, will be featured on both the Discovery Channel's SINS AND SECRETS, as well as the Oxygen channel's SNAPPED. I am interviewed about the trial, and what went wrong in what seemed like the perfect American family. The run dates are tentatively set for March/ early April. I will post, once the final run dates are announced.
And in case you missed it, I talked with Tony Conley on his radio show on Friday, 1320 WILS, out of Lansing about the ongoing case of Leon Walker, the Rochester Hills man facing a five year felony for reading his wife's email. The Michigan Court of Appeals has ruled he will, indeed, stand trial. It is a story that has made international headlines and prompted a wide-ranging debate about internet privacy in the marital home.
